On April 1, 2023 (making many wonder if it was an April Fool’s joke), popular transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney shared a sponsored post in partnership with Bud Light with nods to March Madness and his continuing personal documentary, “365 Days of Girlhood.”
In June of 2023, Target released its highly controversial Pride merchandise line, including “tuck-friendly” swimsuits for transgender “women” (biological men).
The controversial collection also featured rainbow-emblazoned clothing for infants and toddlers, sparking great indignation from parents over the sexualization of minor children.
In the same month, NBC News published an article entitled, “35 LGBTQ+ owned brands and businesses to support in 2023 and beyond.”
With a passionately pro-LGBTQ media, conservatives often find themselves bombarded by this anti-family agenda and at a loss when it comes to finding conservative companies they can support.
Many conservative Christians feel trapped by the market and the available stores in their local area and are disenchanted with their spending options in general.
But here’s the good news: conservative, family-friendly companies still exist!
On May 15, 2024, EveryLife Diaper Company posted on their social media that they are partnering with Hobby Lobby, the popular arts and crafts store.
Hobby Lobby’s partnership with Every Life exists to provide Hobby Lobby employees “with New Baby Gift Bags for every birth or adoption.”
What a beautiful partnership with a beautiful message: that every life is valuable and as such, every life will be celebrated and supported at Hobby Lobby.
Michael Seifert, founder and CEO of PublicSquare, of which EveryLife is a subsidiary, commented on the partnership:
Hobby Lobby is a great example of a successful company that has always held fast to its convictions and refused to compromise its mission. They’ve inspired me for years and it’s an honor to announce that we at [EveryLife] are partnering with them!
Sarah Gabel Seifert, co-founder and President of EveryLife, also commented on Hobby Lobby’s partnership:
At EveryLife, we’re driven by the belief that every child is a precious gift. Partnering with Hobby Lobby is a cornerstone moment for our company as it embodies our mission to support and cherish the miracle of new life. This initiative is our way of saying ‘welcome’ to the newest members of our community and ‘thank you’ to the parents embarking on this beautiful journey.
Hobby Lobby’s partnership stands in direct contrast to companies like Starbucks, Target, and Disney who fund abortion for their employees.
In fact, David Green, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Hobby Lobby commented,
Hobby Lobby has always believed in building a family-oriented workplace, and partnering with EveryLife to provide New Baby Gift Boxes to our employees is a natural extension of our values. It’s our way of celebrating the most joyous moments in our employees’ lives and supporting them through the journey of parenthood.
Hobby Lobby’s partnership with EveryLife is unapologetically pro-life, pro-woman, and pro-baby.
In the midst of the onslaught of anti-family, anti-life voices from the media to the marketplace, let’s remember that beacons of hope and light remain.
Conservative companies still exist, and they are fighting for future generations.
