As previously noted, the IHSA (Illinois High School Association) is in hot water due to their dedication to allowing biological men to occupy girls’ spaces and compete in girls’ sports.

While the IHSA currently remains unmoved, U. S. Representative Mary Miller (IL-15) is doubling down on her calls for investigations into the IHSA to take place.

She recently told Fox News Digital,

“The Illinois High School Association has crossed a dangerous line. By blatantly violating federal law and rejecting biological reality, they are not only undermining fairness in girls’ sports – they’re putting the safety of young women at risk.”

As it turns out, most of America agrees with Miller despite what the media would have you believe.

New York Times/Ipsos survey, conducted in January of this year, revealed that the majority of Americans, including a majority of Democrats, do not believe that transgender athletes should be allowed to compete in women’s sports.

As it relates to the survey results, Fox News reports,

“Of the 2,128 people who participated, 79% said biological males who identify as women should not be allowed to participate in women’s sports.

Of the 1,025 people who identified as Democrats or leaning Democratic, 67% said transgender athletes should not be allowed to compete with women.”

It is refreshing to see that the vast majority of Americans holds to some mode of common sense.

In addition to her call for the IHSA to officially undergo investigation for its endangerment of girls and their blatant disregard for President Trump’s Executive Order, Miller introduced another action step.

H.R. 2452, the Keep Our Girls Safe Act, is Miller’s official call for America to return to common sense and biology on the issue of gender.

This bill has one simple purpose:

“To provide that for purposes of determining compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, locker room facilities in active use in connection with an education program or activity may be in use only by individuals of the same sex as determined solely on each individual’s reproductive biology and genetics at birth.”

Essentially, this bill would codify Trump’s Executive Order 14201, “Keeping Men Out Of Women’s Sports,” into federal law.

This bill seeks to do what the IHSA is refusing to do: keep your daughters safe.

As a soon-to-be mom to a little girl, I not only heavily support this bill. but I also strongly support Miller’s call for the IHSA to be investigated.
