Live Action is one of the largest anti-abortion non-profit organizations. Live Action exists to “shift public opinion on the killing of preborn children and defend the rights of these most vulnerable among us.”
Because of Live Action’s mission to shift public opinion on the killing of the preborn, they launched Face to Face. Face to Face is a video series in which abortion survivors, former abortion providers, and women experiencing abortion regret come face to face to have honest, heartfelt, and unfiltered conversations.
Recently, Lila Rose, founder of Live Action, held a 20-minute roundtable discussion featuring Jill Stanek, an abortion witness, and Patricia Sandoval, an ex-abortion worker.
Both women entered the medical field wanting to help women (one pro-life and one pro-abortion). However, the practices that they uncovered and the trauma they both experienced through witnessing an abortion opened their eyes to the reality of the abortion industry actively functioning inside hospitals.
“One night, a nurse friend was taking a little abortion survivor to the soiled utility room to die, and when she told me what she was doing, I couldn’t bear the thought of him dying alone. He’d been aborted because he had Down’s Syndrome. He was about 21 ½ weeks old. He was about the size of my hand… he was using all his energy at that time to breathe…
After I held that baby, I just had to do something that would propel me into the pro-life movement.”
– Jill Stanek, former Labor and Delivery Nurse at Christ Hospital
This discussion features what they witnessed firsthand in the abortion industry and how that transformed their views on life and the value of human dignity.
